The 360 booth is the one guests line up for twice. If you are thinking about one for your event, here is what it is, how it works and how to plan for it.
What Is a 360 Photo Booth?
Despite the name, a 360 photo booth makes videos. Guests stand on a round platform while a camera on a rotating arm circles around them. The result is a short slow motion video that shows them from every angle, like a scene from a music video.
How It Works
- One guest or a small group steps onto the platform.
- The attendant starts the spin and the camera records in HD at 120 frames per second.
- The software adds slow motion, boomerang or other effects, plus your custom overlay and music.
- Guests get the finished video right away by AirDrop, text or email.
Why Guests Love It
It makes everyone look good. The slow motion and moving camera hide the awkwardness of posing, and the result is ready to post on Instagram or TikTok. It also pulls in guests who would never step into a regular photo booth.
How to Plan for a 360 Booth
- Space. The arm needs room to spin, plus space for the line. Tell us your venue and room layout and we will confirm it fits.
- Music. Pick a few songs that fit your crowd. A good song makes every video better.
- Design. We add a custom overlay with your names, date or logo to every video.
- Timing. The 360 booth is busiest after dinner when the dance floor opens. Book enough hours to cover the peak.
- Prints. The 360 booth makes videos only. If you want prints too, pair it with our print booth or AI sketch booth.
