A few years ago, guests lined up for a photo strip. Today, most of them want a video they can post before the party is over. TikTok changed what people expect from a photo booth, and booths changed with it.
What Changed
TikTok made short videos with music, filters and effects part of everyday life. When guests walk up to a booth now, they think in songs and trends, not in poses. A booth that only takes still photos can feel old to anyone under 30.
How a TikTok Booth Works
- Guests pick a song or sound.
- They choose from hundreds of filters, effects and templates, then record.
- They post to a custom account we set up for the event, save the video as a draft, or AirDrop it to their phone.
An attendant runs the booth the whole time, so guests never get stuck on a menu.
Tips for Hosts
- Share the event account. Put the account name on a sign at the booth so guests can find every video later.
- Pick a few songs ahead of time. A short list of crowd favorites keeps the line moving.
- Use a custom overlay. Your names, date or logo on every video means the party travels with every share.
- Light it up. The TikTok booth can run open or inside our LED inflatable enclosure, which makes every video brighter.
- Add prints for the older crowd. Prints are an add on, so grandparents leave with something too.
TikTok Booth or 360 Booth?
Both make videos. The TikTok booth is about dancing, filters and posting to an account. The 360 booth is about the slow motion, every angle moment. Big parties often book both.
